    We state with resentment that the published draft of the Contract About the United State Foundation demonstrate neglectful attitude of the authors of this document towards the Belarus native population's language. We are insulted by the fact that according to this draft the only language for all organs of government of the united state is Russian. Moreover, the initiators of the foundation of the united state didn't even publish the draft in Belarusian, which is the state language of the Republic of Belarus. Dishonorable neglect of the language of the first east Slavonic printer Frantsishak Skaryna testifies to the fact that the Belarusians will be at the minor roles. We do not want to follow the fate of the Russian empire's numerous peoples, who lost their language culture distinctive features as the result of the denationalization. We do not want to die out.
    Belarusian Language Society named after F.Skaryna rise in opposition to the foundation of the united state, which puts the independence and sovereignty of Belarus under the threat of disappearance and which will lead to the dying-out of our native ancient language.
